Meet the Team

PAUL COPPOLA

Director

Paul Coppola

I’m a die-hard movie and music buff and if I’m not sitting watching the latest release I’m out there trying to find the next big band.

Some would say I am a bit of a socialite who enjoys going to the footy and having a few drinks with friends.

Ultimately though, I love my family and like nothing better than to make my kids laugh.

Paul joined Affinity Business Advisers in 2014, having already established himself in a leading position at another financial advisory firm in Adelaide. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with majors in both Accounting and Management. He is a registered tax agent as well as self-managed superannuation auditor.

Paul’s professional history and business acumen has seen him work across client services and business operations. Paul’s skills include management advice, cash flow management, taxation planning and compliance and board representation. He has hands-on experience in countless sectors including project management, reporting, structural advice, accounting and business growth and acquisitions.

Paul has a passion for ensuring that his client’s businesses generate wealth and strives to help them maximise their profit potential.

DOUG PERAC

Director

Doug Perac

I’m a big entertainer, who enjoys simple rustic cooking on a charcoal bbq or spit.

I like to think I have a taste for single malt whisky and love spending a lazy Sunday having lunch at a local winery with family and friends.

I love my sport, but would trade watching it to go kick the ball around with my boys.

Doug joined Affinity Business Advisers in 2014, after previously holding positions in financial planning, tax and accounting, and management accounting.  Doug has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree majoring in Accounting, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.

Throughout Doug’s employment history, he has provided accounting and taxation services to a number of clients ranging from individuals and small businesses to large companies.  Doug’s key skills include business advisory, cash flow management, cloud-based accounting systems, structural advice and accounting and taxation planning and compliance.

Doug believes relationships, knowledge and a genuine interest in achieving the best for his clients is what makes a truly professional adviser.

DAVID GRENCI

Director & Financial Adviser

David Grenci

I’ve always loved sports but after watching the F1s in Adelaide for the first time in the mid-80s, I knew I had found my true sporting passion.

I’m also a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur and on weekends I love firing up my wood oven to create the perfect pizza.

I enjoy the simple things in life, like catching up with friends and spending time with my wife and daughters.

In 2014, having previously been a principal of a mid-tier advice business in Adelaide, David established Affinity Wealth Advisers with the intention of offering professional and personal services to an existing client base. David operates as an Authorised Representative of a Financial Services License MyPlanner Professional Services Pty Ltd (AFSL No 425542) 51 159 696 830 and has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree majoring in Accounting. He is also a member of the institute of Chartered Accountants, has a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking.

David’s professional focus lies in providing personal strategic, financial and taxation advice spanning multi-disciplines including superannuation, self-managed superannuation, investments and estate planning. David’s strengths are providing a holistic approach to businesses and individuals by combining his skills to deliver great client outcomes.

David has a passion for working with people who are seeking an optimal balance between financial security and maintaining current lifestyle priorities.

ALAN HILL

Consultant

Alan Hill

I spend time away from the office looking after 10 acres in the Adelaide Hills.

Once that’s done, a round or two of golf a week is great enjoyment. As a Director and Honorary Treasurer of The Legacy Club of SA, I devote time to the financial aspects of the Club and its members.

In Summer I can be found at Adelaide Oval hoping for victories by the Australian and Redback cricketers.

Alan was a founding member of the original business, Hill & Tagliaferri and has a career in tax and accounting spanning more than 35 years. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has a Bachelor of Accounting Degree.

Over the years, Alan has developed a strong relationship with his clients which has resulted in a stellar reputation and strong growth for the firm. Alan has acquired an extensive range of expertise and experience in tax and accounting over the years across numerous industries. Alan continues to work closely with some of the firm’s original clients, advising on taxation and accounting and business services.

Alan believes the key to providing reliable advice is to never stop building meaning relationships with both clients and others in the industry.
